The VR Project has made a lot of progress lately. Some of the bugs that were previously present have been fixed, and I was able to improve a lot of the features in the game. A model has been made for the Left Hand, however has caused some issues.




A list of the Features currently coded into the game.


  • Physical Hands W/ Pickup system

  • Interactive Items

  • Health System

  • Fall damage

  • Climbing

  • Basic Locomotion (Optional Teleport system is W.I.P)

  • Basic AI for enemy and Ally Character.

  • Pistol with Projectiles instead of a Line Trace.

  • Melee Weapons

  • Levers

  • Valves

  • Crouching

  • Flammable Barrels.

  • Trigger zones. (Added after video was taken)

  • Hurt Zones.

  • Level Changes (Same as above, Variable carry over is W.I.P)

  • Breakable boards (^)

Bug list.

  • Player can currently clip through BSP whilst in climbing mode.

  • Due to the way the hands were coded, Climbable objects were made Dynamic, sometimes results in glitches when Player collider and the objects overlap.

  • A Glitch I have been unable to recreate since, was the result of stepping on a game object that caused the player to Gib for some reason.

  • Player still collides with grabbed objects, and can fly off if stepping over Physics Objects.
