At this point in time, I am working on the framework for a VR game I am planning to develop in my spare time. I started the project about 2 weeks ago using Unreal Engine 4, I was annoyed by the default settings that come with VR controllers, as hands usually pass through geometry in the world-space without interacting with it. To counter this I set up a system where the Motion Controllers are actually invisible in the game world. The skeletal hand mesh is then used and paired to the Motion Controller, however Collision and physics are enabled, although it's impossible to physically stop the motion controllers, the world-space hands are able to be stopped by solid geometry, thus giving the illusion to the player that they are interacting with a virtual world. From this I started to build a basic game framework. At the time of writing the game currently contains:

Locomotion system Jumping

Crouching

Fall Damage Interactive levers

Interactive Items (Guns, Grenades, health items) Melee weapons (still work in progress)

Everything at this stage in time is Work in progress, and is not representative of the final product in anyway.
